Check your patient feedback for AHPRA compliancy

Patient Review Tool

AHPRA’s guidelines prevent testimonials and reviews with certain content from being used to promote regulated health services and businesses. If you’ve received positive patient feedback and aren’t sure if it meets AHPRA’s requirements, you can use this patient review compliance tool to determine its suitability for use in advertising.

Are you planning to use the feedback in your advertising?

AHPRA defines advertising as “all forms of verbal, printed or electronic public communication that promotes a regulated health service provider to attract a person to the provider (practitioner or business)”.*

This means that responding to the review, displaying it somewhere where it may be seen, directing traffic to it, or use it for any other deliberate act of self-promotion may be considered as advertising.

If the review is currently posted on a platform you don’t hold control over and you don’t plan to use it for direct self-promotion, click on ‘no’.
