Vividus Walks to Support Mental Health

Vividus is passionate about promoting and supporting mental health awareness. Recently our mighty Account Manager mouse, Melissa, demonstrated this by participating in Coastrek’s 30km fundraising walk for Beyond Blue. The walk took place on 15th July and consisted of teams of 4 walking 30km or 60km to raise money to ensure every phone call, web chat and email to the 24/7 Beyond Blue Support Service is answered. In 2021, Beyond Blue had 318,901 contacts to their mental health support services. Each contact to the 24/7 Beyond Blue Support Service costs around $48 to answer.

Mel was a part of the Red Hot Chilli Steppers team with three other amazing women, Angeline, Tammy and Sharyn. The 30km length walk started at 10am from Mudjimba Beach then trekked along the beautiful coastline finishing at Noosa Beach at 6pm. The group managed to raise $3,111. Overall Coastrek raised $1,543,087 for Beyond Blue from this one Brisbane event.
