Allianz Global Assistance was looking for a fresh modern design and a seamless integration of various applications into their website.

Allianz Global Assistance approached us to create a new website for their Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC) product. They were looking for a solution that would plug into a content management system (CMS) allowing them to update and change content needed. The brief also required us to seamlessly integrate various applications, which included quoting and “find a doctor” functionality.

The previous site lacked direction and focus as well as bombarding the user with badly organised information. As a result, we began the process by working closely with the OVHC team to understand the requirements of all stakeholders and how these requirements related to the website content.

The website was designed in line with OVHC’s current branding and was required to appear fresh, professional and user-friendly. In order to establish this from the beginning, we created a quote widget that sat within the rotating banner on the homepage. Therefore allowing visitors to the website an immediate call to action of requesting a quote.

The home page also includes clear call to action buttons, easy to find services and easily accessible information required to help make a decision, get the cover the user is seeking and make a claim.

We developed the “Find a Doctor” functionality using the Google Mapping API to make it really easy for users to find doctors in their area. The map can be filtered by postcode or suburb within a radius of 5 – 500km.

The website is designed responsively, meaning the layout of the website adapts depending on the size of the user’s screen. This ensures everyone gets a focused browsing experience, irrespective of their screen size or type of device.
