ApreSkin is a new skin consultation app targeted at dermatologists, skin specialists and doctors. It was created to help doctors benefit from a streamlined, integrated system for their skin consultations. The goal is to provide accuracy in reporting and save time with recording the patient?s skin lesions or conditions.
Creator Brad Jones, an Australian dermatologist approached Vividus to assist with launching the app to the world of dermatology.
What we did:
We started off by creating a marketing activity plan and budget, which was split into pre-launch, launch and post launch phase.
During pre-launch phase we created a content calendar for the first quarter of activities, which included blogs, press releases and social media updates. These were then published according to the schedule.
We also created LinkedIn, Google Plus and Twitter accounts for the brand to educate the target audience, create awareness and share links to blogs and updates about the app to build hype before it was released in the AppStore.
During launch, we sent out press kits to targeted online publications and promoted the app via a full page ad in the Private Practice magazine (watch out for it in the next edition) and we continue to drive engagement and awareness through online marketing campaigns.
